Very professional and quality service where customer is treated with respect. 5 Star always presents ways to save money, is clear how long parts should last, what is short term vs long term fix and lets customer decide. Pricing is better than competitive and a fair market average charged because of superior service. Punctual, reliable, responsive, professional and high quality work. I have multiple homes in the area and use 5-Star exclusively. They really care about not leaving someone out in the heat, or cold and will work to get you going no matter the time or day of the week. It is a veteran owned business, and while its nice to support that, I do it because the service is absolutely the best.

Would rate 10 stars if I could! Mr. Childress and his team were great. The level of professionalism, responsiveness, honesty, and pride in work was refreshing. Our A/C wasn’t sending cool air right before the 4th of July… Mr. Childress quickly came out, correctly diagnosed the underlaying issues, took the time to explain everything, answered all of my questions and had us fixed up in no time. Five Star replaced both my heating and air conditioning systems. They did a phenomenal job and gave a me a great price. The whole crew was very knowledgeable. D will come out and give you an honest evaluation of your issues and how to solve them. Everyone I have referred them to has been very happy with their service. He was able to keep our aircraft carriers systems running and he can do the same for your house. I would not let anyone else take care of my HVAC needs.

I don’t usually gush on reviews, but this time I’m going to and it is well deserved! Yesterday evening around 7 PM our home heating system decided to die on us with temps in the low teens. We started calling to see if we could find anyone to come out on an emergency basis. We were doubtful since it was a Sunday night before a holiday. We received a call back in just a few minutes from D’Marcus Childress the owner of 5 Star Heating and AC. He literally was at our door in 10 minutes! He came in and worked for over an hour to try to ascertain what the problem was. It seems our unit was old (we’ve only lived here 2 years) and was rusted through as well as having a freon leak amongst other problems. He laid out all the choices that we had as far as dealing with the issue and with absolutely no pressure. We decided for peace of mind to just go with a new unit. He said that he would be back the next morning at 8 AM to do the job. And true to his word, he was! And to top it off it snowed the night before. When he got up that morning and saw the snow, he didn’t want to trust the supplier would be able to deliver our unit so he asked one of his team members to drive to the other side of Dallas to pick it up when they opened so we wouldn’t be without heat any longer than we had to. And it was a good thing that he had such forethought, because after our unit was picked up, the supplier decided to close for the rest of the day because of the weather. He and his team worked as hard as they could all morning in the 15 degree weather to install our inside and outside units. And now we are sitting in a nice warm home! And for all of the above, his price was fantastic! You couldn’t ask for better service or a kinder more honest individual! We HIGHLY recommend 5 Star Heating and AC for all of your HVAC needs!

Although my A/C worked just fine, I scheduled an appointment to have it serviced. When Mr. Childress arrived (and he arrived right on time), he asked a few questions and began working. After about an hour, I was prepared to hear that my A/C required some unnecessary additional repairs. But quite the contrary, it became very apparent to me that Mr. Childress took his time to ensure the job was done thoroughly and correctly. The cost did not vary from the quote he provided when I made the appointment. Mr. Childress is very skilled and extremely professional. I highly recommend this company.
